Magazines suck. You have to pay for them, they pile up on your desk until you feel guilty about throwing them away because you freaking paid for them, then they fill up landfills, looking all sad and wrinkly and decomposing. I’m kind of glad they’re all going out of business.

Except the ones I read. Those can stay.
Thanks to inflated egos and a gross lack of foresight, the magazine business has somehow failed almost entirely to adapt to the digital age – also managing to screw up the entire industry of print advertising, thereby costing me money personally. So I’d be happy to see them all burn at this point and go on with my RSS feeds and my carpal tunnel.
But then along comes Mag+. Oh, it’s just a concept, and I doubt very much that, if it does get adopted by anyone, it will remain as cool or useful as it looks here, but it has single-handedly restored my hope for magazines.
Thanks Adrants.
